ULTRA WHISPER

Sea Recovery’s Ultra Whisper™ Desalinator—with its unique EfficientSea™ Energy Transfer technology—brings efficient, compact, and extraordinarily quiet watermaking to small and mid-size power or sail boats that either have only DC power available or small AC generators less than 4 Kw in size.

The unit’s Energy Transfer Device eliminates the need for a high-pressure pump, reducing the electricity consumption of the watermaker by as much as 75%. The reverse osmosis (RO) process is achieved by recovering energy from the pressurized brine discharge and transferring that energy to relatively low-pressurized feed water. An ingeniously designed manifold and a two-valve flow control system deliver smooth, constant, and fault-free one-touch automated operation with no valves to adjust; it self adjusts to any feed water condition. The patented energy recovery device pump is manufactured with Nitronic 50 material providing corrosion and erosion resistance.

This energy recover watermaker produces from 200 to 600 U.S. gallons per day (757 to 2,271 liters per day) or 8 to 25 U.S. gallons per hour (32 to 95 liters per hour).

Salinity Monitoring: Automatic computer controlled electronic monitoring. Temperature compensated with the Water Quality Indicator. The salinity monitoring components of the system give a continuous readout in micromhos per cubic centimeter, are temperature compensated, and of a fail-safe design.
